3 days, 3 deals, starting to remind me of ’92

Global News

TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays have made another move to bolster their bullpen, just a day after General Manager Alex Anthopoulos said he doesn’t expect the team to make any more trades ahead of today’s deadline.

Relief pitcher Mark Lowe has reportedly been traded to the Blue Jays from the Seattle Mariners.

Both teams have yet to confirm the details of the trade but SBNation reporter Chris Cotillo was first to report the deal just after 1 p.m. Friday.

It’s not yet clear who the Blue Jays will give up for Lowe, as the details of the deal have not officially been announced, but it’s expect that three minor league players will head to Seattle.
