EDMONTON – The City of Champions continues to celebrate like it’s 1984, as the Edmonton Oilers 1984 Stanley Cup champions’ reunion rolls on.

For days, various events have taken place around the Capital Region, marking the 30th anniversary of the big win.

It’s all leading up to Friday night’s Oilers 1984 Stanley Cup Reunion which will take place at 7:30 at Rexall Place.

Most of the 1984 championship team and staff, including Oilers legends Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Jari Kurri, Grant Fuhr, Glenn Anderson, and Glen Sather, will reunite in Edmonton for an evening of storytelling and memories. The event supports the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

Alberta Health Services announced a new outpatient clinic opening at the Stollery has been named in honour of the 1984 Edmonton Oilers team.
