Outkast aren’t even a quarter of the way through their 40-festival reunion tour and already they’ve added another show. Today, Big Boi and André 3000 announced that they’ll be playing a homecoming show at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park on September 27th. As Billboard points out, Outkast is curating the entire performance and will announce supporting acts in the coming weeks. Tickets go on sale June 18th at OutkastAtLast.com.
“It’s only right that we give the hometown what we’ve been giving the rest of the world,” Big Boi in a statement. “Atliens in ATL, homecoming! Festival Killers.”
Added André 3000, “Coming from Atlanta gave us the freedom to be whatever we ever wanted to be because no one was paying attention. Now that everyone is, we want to say thank you.”
