‘Harry Potter’ fans — get excited! We’ve known since September that JK Rowling is writing a screenplay for Warner Bros. based on Newt Scamander, fictional writer of JK’s 2001 companion novel ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them,’ but we’ve now learned that Warner Bros. plans to release a trilogy of films based on ‘Fantastic Beasts!’

It’s been seven dark years since Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows was printed in the U.S., and three since Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows — Part 2 was released in theaters in 2011, capping off the Harry Potter series for good. As a result, fans were beside themselves with excitement when JK Rowling announced in Sept. 2013 that she was penning a screenplay for Warner Bros. based on the companion novel she released in 2001 to benefit British charity Comic Relief, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
