TORONTO — Made-in-Vancouver TV series The Killing has been brought back to life.
The drama was cancelled in September by U.S. cable network AMC after three seasons.
Netflix has announced it will produce a fourth and final season of six episodes to wrap-up the story.
Stars Joel Kinnaman and Mireille Enos have signed on to reprise their roles.
The Killing, set in Seattle, is filmed around Vancouver and employs local crews and some Canadian actors.
The series was cancelled after its sophomore season but AMC revived it for a third with some new cast members.
