50 years ago The Beatles took the United States by storm with their appearance on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show,’ so on Feb. 9 a massive amount of stars — from Katy Perry to Ed Sheeran to Sir Paul himself — took the stage to honor the legendary band.

It was 50 years to the day on Feb. 9 that The Beatles made their first appearance in the U.S. on The Ed Sullivan Show, and CBS did not skimp on the anniversary celebration. With the group’s remaining members, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, on hand as guests of honor, “The Beatles: The Night That Changed America — A Grammy Salute” was an unbelievable tribute concert.
